Key Responsibilities:
1. Propose options for test strategy on the basis of available equipment
2. Initiate and implement technical innovations in testing
3. Develop new initiatives and cooperations for Non Destructive Testing with international institutes
4. Proper functioning and maintenance of all equipment according to ISO standards
5. Functional coaching (incl. appraisals) to engineers
6. Assign resources to projects based on Project schedules
7. Actively promote quality Management Systems(ie. ISO9001-2000/ISO 17025)
8. Ensure health, quality and safety standards in the test and equipment areas
Required Knowledge and Skills:
1. Should have technically managed R & D/product Development Projects (E)
2. Extensive experience in maintenance of complex equipments(E)
3. Knowledge & experience with mechanical design and hydraulics (E)
4. Techno - commercial aspects of annual maintenance contracts (E)
5. Should have worked with ISO-9001-2000 Quality Standards (E)
6. Experience in Electrical & Electronics - Instrumentation (design, and operation) (D)
7. Relevant experience in complex command & control systems (D)
8. Should possess high coaching and mentoring skills, Project Management skills, Interpersonal and Motivational
Skills
9. Should have a proactive approach, and good analytical and problem solving skill along with good commercial and negotiation skills and
communication skills
Experience Details: At least 15 years out of which 10 years of experience in R & D and min 5 years should
have be in maintenance
Education Details: Masters degree in Electronics/Instrumentation/Electrical /Mechanical
