Before performing actual test, the structural behavior of rotor blade is simulated using Finite Element Analysis software and the test set up is planned. The analysis is mainly done to design the load frame and find out the positions of winches. The results, mainly the deflections and strains obtained from the finite element analysis are compared with the test results.
