The Test Centre is equipped with the latest state-of-art technology for carrying out multi point, single axis static tests and dual axis fatigue test for blades up to 65 meters length. These tests are performed using latest PLC controlled Equipment, Advanced Control Systems and highly reliable Data Acquisition Systems, under completely controlled environmental conditions in accordance with the international standards for Wind Turbine Blade Testing. The tests confirm to the norms of IEC, GL and CWET standards. BTCG is in advanced stages of the IS0 9001, IS0 27001 certificate process and planning for IS0 17025 & IS0 14001.
Global investors, developers, manufacturers and insurance companies require full scale testing according to the Standards for Wind Turbine Rotor Blades. This is a mandatory requirement to obtain Type certification according to e.g. IEC 61400-23. BTCG is a test centre for conducting full scale testing of wind turbines blades. It is the first of its kind in the entire ASIA and is located at about 22km from Vadodara, Gujarat, INDIA.
BTCG has been established by Suzlon Energy Limited, the leading wind turbine manufacturer in Asia. It is an independent unit which provides its services to internal and external customers maintaining strict confidentiality.
